Since it is close to the Panjab University, Chandigarh, it is a haven for all college goers, hostellers and university students –handcrafted bags, jackets, home décor, decorative upholstery, etc.

Sector-15 market usually opens around 11 AM and closes at 10 PM. If you are hungry after a day’s shopping, you get good Chinese food, spring rolls, ice-cream, vada pav, etc at pocket-friendly prices.
“Because it is in the open, it is less congested than sector 22 rehri market,” said one shopper. “My school DAV Sector 15 is just adjacent to the open rehri market, so its very easy for us to come to the market and buy the latest, seasonal clothes,” says Payal, a school-goer.
