Your participation in AIPL Dream City Family Run on Sunday, 30th April is being confirmed.

Please note Race Expo Venue and Date:-

Expo Venue (To Collect T-Shirt & BiB Number):- AIPL DreamCity Sales Office, Issewal Deatwal Link Rd, Deatwal, Ludhiana

Expo Timing:- 29th April, Saturday | 2pm to 6pm (duration 4hrs)

Note:-

- You may authorize someone to collect bibs (for individual or group). The authorized person should carry a copy of your participation confirmation mail or your bib number.

- No kit distribution on race day. Only bibs will be available.

- Don’t exchange your bibs.

- Don’t tag your bib on your back; wear it on your chest.

- No registrations on race day i.e. 30th April

Category wise Flag off Time:

Assembly time- 5:00AM onwards, reaching early will help you in finding a suitable parking area and in enjoying the pre-run activities, including Zumba warm-up session.

10Km Run- 6:00am start, Cut Off time 90mins, 2 loops

5Km Run- 6:10am start, 1 unidirectional loop

5Km Walkathon- 6:10am start, 1 unidirectional loop

3Km Run- 6:20am start, u-turn from 1.5Km point

Race Day Instructions:-

# Don’t exchange your bibs.
# Don’t go on the track after you finish wearing your bib, you will be disqualified. Remove it, if you want to help your runners on the track.
# Wear your bib number on the front, preferably on your chest.
# Reach at the venue, 60mins in advance from your respective start.
# It’s a flat course, clean, pollution & traffic free. You will enjoy it.

# Try to reach the venue 60 minutes before your respective start time. Attendants will help you park your vehicle in the designated parking area.

Rewards & Felicitations:

Top 3 finishers (fastest males & females) in 10Km, 5Km, 3Km Run will be selected on net time (chip time) basis. 5Km Walkathon is a non-timed, non-competitive event

Family which is fielding max participants in the event will be felicitated on the stage

 

Water Stations and other arrangements:-

We are making our events eco-friendly and green. Water will be served in disposable cups or you may use your personal bottles/ sippers. There are 4 water stations on the 5km route. The aid stations will have first-aid, water, energy drink and race related snacking items.

There will be Km markers and volunteers to guide you at every turn. The route is clean, green and traffic free.

Portable Toilets:- These will be placed outside the assembly area.

Baggage Counter:- Deposit your baggage (no valuable item inside) at the medal counter & baggage counter.

Post Run Activities:-

Participants will get finishers’ Medal & Timing Certificate will be available by Monday morning.

There are arrangements of surprising fun activities in assembly area, once you finish your run/ walk

Post run breakfast will be served to all participants in the holding area. We have arranged a healthy breakfast. We are using biodegradable disposable plates to serve food.

Dispose all the trash, disposable glasses and bottles in the dustbin. Help us keep the race route clean.

Race Categories:

10Km (6:00am start, Cut Off time 90mins, age 14yrs & above)- 1200/-

5Km Run (6:10am start, age 10yrs & above)- 1200/-

5Km Walkathon (6:10am start, non-timed, age 6yrs & above)- 1000/-

3Km Run (6:20am start, age 12yrs & above)- 1000/-

3Km Kids’ Run (6:15am start, age 6yrs to 12yrs)- 1000/-

How can a Family can Register:

"Introducing a new category of recognition in Dream City Family Run- “I Run with my Clan”. You & your family members will register in the any distance category of choice. Before registering you will have to request for a Family Code. Let’s say if you get a code FAMILY 1 then your entire family should use the same code FAMILY1 so that we count all your family members under this code. You don't have to do registration in one go or for one particular distance. You are free to register at your ease sooner or later but before registrations close.

Maximum participation from a family and max distance clocked by a family are the two categories for felicitation.

The ranking will be done on the basis of no. of kms run/ walked by the clan (say code FAMILY 1) and average age of the clan. If the distance clocked by one or more families is the same then the family/ clan which is older in average age will be ranked ahead of the younger clan."

All categories are solo but we are introducing recognition for families.

Prizes & Gifts for Winners:

The fastest 3 males & females in each distance category (10Km, 5Km, 3Km & 3Km Kids Run) will be felicitated with trophies. There is no Cash prize. Age Category podium finisher will be felicitated on a later date. Ranking by Net Time or chip time.

The 5Km Walkathon is a non-competitive category.
