RULES and regulations for the  COMPETITIONS, Cyclothon, and Mini Marathon 

A) Drawing COMPETITION

Category: Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 7.10.2022

Time: 10.00 AM to 11.30 PM

RULES FOR DRAWING COMPETITION (JUNIOR/SENIOR)

1. 'Theme for round 1: Will be given on spot by the judges

2. One student can submit only one sheet

3. Drawing sheet will be given by Haryana Tourism on the day of competition. Students should carry their own colours, sketch pens, pencils etc. required for the competition.

4. There is no restriction on using colour which means participants can use any colour

5. Multiple entries by one student is not allowed

6. Students have to mention Student Name, Father's Name, School, Name and mobile number

Judging will be based on the following criteria:

1. Details and clarity of sketch

2. Colour combination

3. Creativity

B) RANGOLI COMPETITION

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 7.10.2022

Time: 12.00 PM to 1.30 PM

• Theme: Utsav
• A group may have not more than four participants
• There will be only one round of competition
• Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is one hour
• Teams will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to prepare Rangoli.
• Any material can be used in Rangoli making
• Multiple entries by one student is not allowed
• Rangoli art should not be exceeding 2 ft x 2 ft

Judging will be based on the following Criteria:

• Overall Appearance and appeal
• Details and Clarity in Rangoli art
• Color combination / material combination
• Creativity

  C) Acting COMPETITION

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 7.10.2022

Time: 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM

• This can be a solo or a group participation
• All genres of acting are allowed
• There will be only one round of competition
• The maximum time allowed for one performance will be 10 mins.
• In case of a team and team cannot consist of more than 5 participants.
• 1 Student can participate in solo dance and 1 group dance only

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Singing
• Overall Stage presence

  D) Haryanvi Turban Tying Competition

Category : Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 7.10.2022

Time: 4.30 PM to 6.00 PM

• This is group/solo competition
• A group can have a maximum of 3 participants
• Students will have bring their own material for Turban tying
• Students will be given a maximum time of 15 mins.

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Overall look of the turban
• Cleanliness of the turban

E) Facing Painting  Competition

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 8.10.2022

Time: 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM

• Topic will be given on the spot
• It is a team event and team cannot consist of more than 5 participants.
• There is only one round of competition
• Time limit is 60 mins
• S. Participant should bring their own colour, brushes etc required for face painting
• Multiple entries per student is not allowed

Judging will be based on the following criteria

1. Creativity

2. Innovation

3. Design

F) EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 8.10.2022

Time: 12.00 AM to 1.30 AM

• Topic will be given on the spot
• Only one Participant (one Student) will be allowed per entry
• There is only one round of competition
• Time limit is 5 mins per contestant
• Multiple entries per student is not allowed

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Clarity on content
• Vocabulary

G)  EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

H)  SINGINGCOMPETITION

Time: 2.30 AM to 4.00 AM

• All genres of music are allowed
• This is a solo competition
• There will be only one round of competition
• Time limit is 5 mins
• Participant can carry their minus track if any in pen drive
• Participant are not allowed to play any guitar or any instrument during the performance
• Lip singing is not allowed
• Participant will get the sound and mic installed at the venue
• Multiple entries per student is not allowed

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Singing
• Overall Stage presence

I)   SINGINGCOMPETITION

Category : University Students – (Age 18 Years and Above)

Date : 8.10.2022

Time: 4.00 PM to 6.00 AM

• All genres of music are allowed
• This is a solo competition
• There will be only one round of competition
• Time limit is 5 mins
• Participant can carry their minus track if any in pen drive
• Participant are not allowed to play any guitar or any instrument during the performance
• Lip singing is not allowed
• Participant will get the sound and mic installed at the venue
• Multiple entries per student is not allowed

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Singing
• Overall Stage presence

J)  Clay Competition

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Date : 9.10.2022

Time: 10.00 PM to 11.00 AM

• Topic will be given on the spot
• Teams are not allowed in clay competition
• There is only one round of competition
• Time limit is 60 mins
• S. Participant should bring their own clay of any other material required for the competition
• Multiple entries per student is not allowed

• Creativity
• Innovation
• Design

K)  Dance Competition

Category : Junior (6-12) and Senior (Age 13-18)

Time: 11.00 PM to 12.30 AM

• Theme: Celebration
• There are 2 categories in dance competition- Solo. Dance and Group dance.
• All types of songs and dance is allowed
• There is only one round of competition
• Maximum time limit per performance is 5 mins
• Audio is required in a pen drive on the day of competition
• Students can carry their own props if required for performance/s
• 1 Student can participate in solo dance and 1 group dance only

Judging will be based on the following criteria

• Dance form
• Negative points for exceeding time limit
