I-RUN GOA MARATHON 5th Edition

Event Description:

I-Run Goa Marathon takes over on 7th.January.2024 ,Sunday celebrating 7 years of I-Help Foundation Goa & I-Run Goa Marathon. The 5th edition has been officially announced for 2023 and the event is gearing to light up Goa into a grand spectacle, like never seen before. The participants, volunteers, and spectators have been awaiting the event for long, and the event now returns with a best-in-class experience.

IRGM is where people celebrate their fitness, and come together to experience the joy of crossing the finish line with greater satisfaction and renewed purpose.

All the people who stand at the start line of the I-Run Goa Marathon begin their journey to the event months before by training and adding miles to their life.

I-Run Goa Marathon is a living, thriving model of how running can transform individuals and, in turn, entire communities. IRGM creates the necessary ambience for men, women and children of all ages to come out of their homes and run. As a result, running has become the key to unlock health, inspiration and community revitalization.

I-Run Goa Marathon has following race categories :

1) I-RUN 21 KM (HALF MARATHON)

 2) I-RUN 10 KM (TIMED RUN

 3) I-RUN 05 KM (TIMED RUN)

 4) I-RUN 05 KM (CHARITY RUN)

 5) I-RUN 02 KM (RUN FOR CAUSE)

 EVENT DETAILS: 02 km, 05 km, 10 km & 21km

EVENT TIMING: 5 O CLOCKS IN THE MORNING (5:00 AM TO 9:30AM)

 PURPOSE: I-Run Goa Marathon aims to give message to society about health,Child Education , Importance of tree plantation , Cleanliness and to reduce the use of plastics as much as we can.I-Run Goa Marathon strives to bring joy and happiness through running on the faces of the participants. 

We would like to take the spirit of fitness and running to every home in Goa and also to aware people about the importance of trees and save soil in their lives.

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND : I-Help Foundation Goa is one of the actively involved Youth Volunteering Organization working in the Social Field for the Upliftment of the underprivileged people across Goa.I-Help Foundation Goa is a registered Non-Government Organization, the Foundation has undertaken a multitude of social, educational and environmental projects like I-Help Outreach Goa, I-Educare, I-Warriors, I-Clean, I-Run,I-Help Blood Donation Camp and Health Checkup camps & many more…

I-Help Foundation Goa is also a platform to provide opportunities for youth who wanted to take active part in community development despite time constraints. I- Help Foundation aims to empower youth to become positive change makers who will enable organizations and institutions to work without a vested interest.

VISION : Self Reliant Communities Powered by Selfless Individuals. The integral approaches of I-Help Foundation has gained recognition & appreciation to our organization from many eminent personalities like Mrs.Mridula Sinha, Hon’ble Governor of Goa & Shri.Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Government of India. I-Help Foundation Goa was recognised under TOP TEN RISING NGOs in 2021-2022 by ANI and other print medias.

EVENT AIM: I-Help Foundation Goa will be conducting social rejuvenating activities across the state for the welfare of the people and also I-Help Foundation Goa will be sponsoring free Education for the underprivileged kids under it's initiative I-Educare.
