Treasure Hunt Terms and Conditions

Welcome Pirates,

Please read carefully all the terms and conditions before embarking on this thrilling voyage

 

1. Participation Eligibility: 

 

Participants must be 16 years or older. Employees and immediate family members of The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh are excluded.

 

2. Date: 

 

The treasure hunt begins and ends on 7th April 2024. Timings of the event will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, teams are obligated to reach the venue at 8:00 am. The timings are subject to change depending upon a number of factors to ensure smooth conduct of the event.

 

3. Entry Requirements: 

 

Participants are required to register via the provided form with precise and authentic details. Incomplete or erroneous registrations will result in disqualification and no query for refund will be entertained.

 

4. Treasure Description: 

 

The treasure includes prizes worth 1,00,000 only including cash. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.

 

5. Clue Distribution: 

 

Clues will be provided through traditional scrolls/paper/whatever mode preferable. Participants are expected to routinely monitor for updates.

 

6. Fair Play Guidelines: 

 

Participants must adhere to fair play rules. Cheating or violation of rules will result in immediate disqualification.

 

7. Safety Measures: 

 

Participants are strongly advised to prioritise their safety throughout the duration of the treasure hunt activity.  Avoid risky behaviour, and follow guidelines provided. Kindly note that the organiser is not responsible for any kind of injuries or harm sustained.

 

8. Intellectual Property: 

 

Participants grant The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh the right to use submitted content for promotional purposes. All intellectual property remains with the respective participants.

 

9. Disqualification Criteria:

 

Participants may be disqualified for inappropriate behaviour, cheating, or violation of rules. Decisions made by the organisers will be final and non debatable.

 

10. Publicity Rights: 

 

Participants grant permission for their names, images and data to be used in promotional materials related to the treasure hunt.

 

11. Privacy Policy: 

 

Participant information will be collected and used in accordance with our privacy policy. [Link to privacy policy]

 

12. Cancellation or Modification: 

 

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the treasure hunt for any reason, with notice provided.

 

13. Liability Disclaimer: 

 

The Organiser is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the treasure hunt.

For questions or concerns, contact the numbers being mentioned in the registration form and poster.

 

15. Legal Compliance:

 

This treasure hunt complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Participants are responsible for compliance with local laws. By participating, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh reserves the right to update these terms if necessary.

 

16. Minimum condition for cash prize:

 

The minimum number of entries for 100% of the cash prize is capped at 200. For registrations below the given number, the organiser reserves the right to reduce 50% from the overall prize pool and this decision will not be challenged by anyone.

 

17. Cash Prizes:

 

Total Number of overall positions:- 10

 

For team-based entry:

1st Prize: Rs 25,000 only

2nd Prize: Rs 15,000 only

3rd Prize: Rs 10,000 only

Next 7: Rs 2,000 only

 

For individual entry:

1st Prize: Rs 10,000 only

2nd Prize: Rs 5,000 only

3rd Prize: Rs 2,500 only

Next 7: Rs 1000 only

 

(Example: If an individual entry wins the event, he/she will be eligible for a cash prize of 10,000 Rs whereas the team coming second will be eligible for cash prize 12,500 from the different lot)

 

Rule: Overall positions will be 10 and the prize will be determined on the basis of whether it is an individual registration or team based.
